Species Spotlight

Orange County has many native animals that inhabits diverse diverse habitats from the Santa Ana Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. As part of our mission, OC Habitats strives to bring awareness and education to the public on these native species and their importance in their respective ecosystems.

In 2022, we launched the first of our species spotlight video series featuring the elegant tern, Thalasseus elegans. More videos are in progress to spotlight more native animals here in Orange County!

We hope you enjoy this series!
