2025 ANNUAL FUNDRAISER
& SILENT AUCTION
OC Habitats is excited to announce our Annual Fundraiser and Silent Auction, launching on GivingTuesday, December 2nd, 2025.
FUNDS RAISED WILL GO TO:
- Environmental Education Programs at local Title 1 schools, senior centers, and underserved communities in OC.
- Intern Programs: 6+ month program costs for internship programs with local college students (CSULB, CSUF, UCI, UCR, VANGUARD, and MORE)
- Restoration Projects in Santa Ana, Huntington Beach Wetlands, Upper Newport Bay Wetlands, and Turtle Rock Nature Center (Irvine)
- Sea Urchin Monitoring Program: staffing and supplies to support monitoring of populations of sea urchins in intertidal habitats
-Monarch Butterfly Monitoring Program: staffing and supplies to support monitoring Monarchs as they overwinter
- Project Supplies and Tools for educational and restoration programs
- Capacity building for organization to help expand programs and projects and retain qualified staff.

To wrap up the auction, OC Habitats will be hosting an in-person Coffee & Conservation presentation on December 6th, featuring our guest speaker from Algalita Marine Research & Education, Trina Miller, and OCH team members. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and connect with environmentally conscious friends as we close out this exciting event.

WHAT IS IT AND HOW DOES IT HELP?
GivingTuesday is a global day dedicated to generosity and community spirit as we head into the holiday season.
All proceeds will support our ongoing work in environmental education, critical habitat restoration, and species monitoring. Your contribution will help us make positive impacts on the conservation of Orange County's native habitats and species.
